Starting from the mid-1990s, India has gone through a sea of change in terms of how public opnion is influenced. Newspapers and magazines have always presented news and views with an added perspective of their own.

When TV channels started replacing newspapers as the source of news for a common Indian, things changed drastically. Even so when dramatisation became a norm for most of these channels. But with time, it has led to degradation in terms of quality of news being shown to the viewers.

With chuggli.com, we aim to address this issue. We are a non-commercial, social portal being run solely for the purpose of helping readers get an unbiased view of different cases, scenarios and situations. These opinions will be in the form of letters which will be addressed to those who matter – the powers that be.
